If you have adopted

Ascentria Adoption Services has partnered with the Evan B. Donaldson Institute in New York, and the Kinship Center in California in an effort to answer the question: “How do we help children who have been transracially adopted form a healthy identity? Based on the groundbreaking study conducted by the Evan B. Donaldson Institute entitled “Beyond Culture Camp,” this triad of well-established organizations have invited others in the adoption community to collaborate in designing a curriculum for children and their parents to use during the critical period when children are forming their identities. By bringing the adoption community together the hope is that this curriculum will be  well-informed, comprehensive, and based on valid research, as well as the professional and personal experiences of top people in the field. We are very excited to be part of such an important endeavor that will potentially benefit adoptive parents, children and families.
The Post Adoption Resource Center offers comprehensive services to all adoptive families in need.  At PARC, we provide support groups, and educational services including articles and resources from around the internet.  These resources come from trusted experts and authorities in the field of adoption.
