Ascentria Care Alliance directs two teen parenting programs for single teenage mothers and their children. The Florence House is located in Worcester, MA and the Ruth House is in Brockton, MA. Both offer transitional living in a supportive environment for low income and often homeless mothers who, with the help of staff, gain the skills necessary to manage life successfully when they leave.

New and gently used items accepted at the Ruth House in Brockton, MA:

• Baby monitors
• Backpacks
• Bottles and various sized nipples
• Bottle brushes
• Burp cloths
• Brushes and combs
• Cleaning supplies
• Clothing and pajamas for children 0-4 yrs
• Crib sheets and receiving blankets
• Diapers and wipes
• Gift cards (grocery stores, discount stores and movie theaters)
• Gift bags and gift wrap/kids party bags
• Hampers/laundry bins
• Infant manicure sets
• Infant OTC medicines, thermometer, diaper ointment, Orjel
• Infant sleepers, socks and onesies
• Infant toiletries (baby wash, shampoo and moisturizer)
• New pillows
• New twin-sized sheets, linens, comforter / blanket
• New towels and washcloths
• Notebooks and notebook paper
• Spill proof sippy cups
• Toiletries
• Organizing bins and toy bins
• Plastic hangers (large and small)
• Unopened baby formula and Pedialite
• Umbrella strollers
No cribs, high chairs or used car seats can be accepted
